Position Overviews :
The Sales Manager is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). He/she fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success within our key verticals MedTech, Electronics, AeroSpace & Defense, as well as in the Research and Academic sectors.
These, in line with LASEA Inc.’s rules and processes, include:
- Sales & Bookings quota management and achievements,
- Sales Planning & Reporting,
- Field sales promotion,
- Implementation and management of a network of representatives
- Marketing Communication (MarCom) campaigns
- Recruiting and selection of direct or indirect sales channels.
Reporting:
Group Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), solid line
Job Responsibilities :
- Consolidation and development of LASEA Group market share in EMEA
- Implementation/management of sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes with consistency
- Provide sales reports and other internal intelligence to the sales organization and LASEA Group’s Management.
- Direct management and development of customer portfolio, including Key Accounts
- Active pre-Sales prospecting activities
- Commercial and technical proposals for standard and customized solutions
- Provides leadership to the EMEA sales organization, and counsels the CCO in implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect the Company’s business goals in EMEA
- Responsible for optimally assigning sales force quotas to all sales channels and resources through the quota program in EMEA
- Facilitates successful implementation of new MarCom programs in EMEA though exhibitions, events, medias to support Product, Technology and Market penetration campaigns.
Achievement of firm sales, profit, and strategic objectives : ?
- Achievement of strategic Sales and MarCom objectives defined by the LASEA Group Management.
- Accountable for the on-time implementation of a network of representatives, with dedicated performance objectives.
- Accountable for the thorough implementation of MarCom campaigns with a sales-impacting focus
- Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources impacting the sales and MarCom organization.
- Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales organization effectiveness (see deliverables below)
Deliverables :
- Facilitates successful implementation of new MarCom programs in EMEA though exhibitions, events, medias to support Product, Technology and Market penetration campaigns.
- Sales quota achievement through direct/indirect (reps) sales channels and direct Key Accounts management
- Regular customer visits directly or with local sales representatives
- Quarterly report on the ongoing Sales action plan focusing on Key Opportunities, Key Accounts penetration, Business Development initiatives, Product/technology penetration activities, territory coverage and MarCom initiatives.
- Operating and optimal use of the Group CRM. Follow up on Sales activities within the CRM on a daily basis to ensure a sustainable and accountable sales forecast overview
- Bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly Sales figures & activity reports, to be defined by the LASEA Group Management
